Walmart: Back to School Digital Campaign

Project Overview
Walmart’s Back to School campaign needed to drive engagement and connect with families preparing for the season. My role was to lead the creative strategy + execution of a digital first campaign designed to resonate across social platforms. The challenge was to balance high volume content creation with impactful storytelling that showcased Walmart as a trusted, relatable choice for back to school needs.

Creative Strategy
We created content that was vibrant, family focused, and optimized for digital engagement. By using social listening tools, we identified key trends and tailored creative assets to align with what mattered most to Walmart’s audience.

We blended playful, engaging visuals with clear calls to action, ensuring the content both inspired and drove results.

Execution Highlights

  • Developed a range of assets, including motion graphics, short form video, and carousel ads, optimized for platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

  • Partnered with strategy teams to leverage social listening insights, ensuring creative spoke directly to current trends and consumer needs.

  • Created scalable workflows to produce high quality content efficiently, meeting Walmart’s need for volume while maintaining creative integrity.

  • Generated 18,000 link clicks and 15,000 swipes, exceeding internal engagement benchmarks.

  • Reinforced Walmart’s position as a go to destination for families during the BTS season, driving increased digital engagement and brand loyalty.
